The Eternal Witness[]
The Eternal Witness is a massive Adamantite Golem that has been seen striding across Erna since before Burtow Dominated the land. No one knows who created the creature or what its purpose is, but it has often been sited at scenes of great historical importance, silently observing from afar. The golem's impenetrable armor, the anti-magic field it projects, and its massive strength have repelled any attempt to destroy or capture it, and the golem's extremely passive nature towards non aggressors have encouraged most to leave it alone. Occasionally, scholars or zealots will follow the Witness, hoping to learn more, but little has been gleaned from the golem's impassive visage. Despite the golem's lack of aggression, most nations keep close track of its whereabouts, as its presence in their lands often signals some large change is coming...

The Deep Logicians[]
The Deep Logicians are an enigmatic, far-flung group of wizards and academics who believe that everything in the universe can be modeled, explained, and ultimately predicted using an ancient art known as "Deep Math." Logicians are rarely encountered by common folk, and when they are, they are conducting experiments of a baffling or terrifying nature. Much to the worry of magic-users everywhere, Deep Logicians have demonstrated the ability to unravel magical workings even as they are made, making arcane and divine magic nearly useless against them.
